Firewall or dressing screen in painted metal from the Viennese secession, turn of the 20th century.
Large secessionist firewall in painted metal. The panel is decorated with patterns typical of the Viennese secession in matt yellow and blue colors which embellish the black background.
The curved shape of the panel perfectly matches the fireplaces, it can also be used as a dressing screen or as a simple decoration. The wrought iron legs are delicately drawn in the art nouveau style.
The interior of the panel and the feet are marked by time, the front of the panel has remained in fairly good condition.
Elegant decorative object, rare.
