Lampe fer forgé et verrerie de Loetz 1915

Rare table lamp circa 1915 in wrought iron, signed and numbered, with a shade by the Austrian glassmaker Johann Loetz.

The wrought iron work is delicate with a simple stem and delicate leaves, typical of the early 20th century. The base is signed on the base and numbered underneath, unidentified. This yellow and black blown glass is very refined. Cut-out shapes decorated with black lines on the edges of the lampshade produce a remarkable and elegant effect. Very versatile this lamp will find its place on a table, a shelf, a piano.
