Pair of French Art Deco Candlesticks by Ercuis in Silver Plated Metal.
A very sleek design of candlestick, circa 1930, with a stepped circular base by the famous French Silversmiths Ercuis.
The design is simple, with a smooth barrel topped with delicate hammered metal decoration in the form of triangles.
The metal is as thick and shiny as Ercuis always makes it. The silver and the flame embellish each other.
Rare and chic, perfect for festive table decorations or everyday to add warmth to your home.
The silver plating is in good condition, the candlesticks have been polished since the original photos, two photos added since (in display case). A slight lack of silvering on the edge of one of the two or the brass appears.
This does not affect the beauty of these beautiful pieces, which can be re-silvered if desired.
