French Limoges porcelain tea or coffee set by Chabrol and Poirier, 1925
These 12 cups are signed by the Manufacture of Limoges Chabrol et Poirier marked with the fabulous mention Grand Prix Exposition Internationale des Arts décoratifs Paris 1925. Chabrol et Poirier won several awards in 1925 and 1931.
The porcelain is delicate and transparent, the shapes worked in flat reliefs all around the cups and saucers enable to beautifully diffuse the shine of the porcelain.
The stylized pattern in bold harmonies of purple, gray and black is modern and original, and the borders are decorated with a high-quality gold fillet.
You can choose to treat yourself with a just pair or two or even the 12 cups (the complete set of 12 is listed separately).
