Art Deco Centrepiece Attributed to Sue et Mare Silver plated metal and crystal
Attributed to Sue et Mare, this art deco centrepiece consists of an oval silver-plated metal bowl with a cut crystal lining.
The decor is typical of the early art deco period, circa 1925 and typical of Sue & Mare delicate ornementation and refined lines.
The glass lining is most likely Baccarat crystal, with a cut star motif at the bottom of the bowl and round shapes cut around the rim.
This centrepiece looks great on its own, for example on a side table or console, and is perfect for displaying fruit on the dining table.
It is in very good condition, a rare item with its original cut.
