MBFA Pornic oyster plates

A set of 12 oyster plates painted by hand by the famous manufacture M.B.F.A.from Pornic in Brittany, France. M.B.F.A.

Started after the second world war thanks to the family Dryander, a family business that started in 1827 owners of the manufacture de Niderviller in Moselle. Émile Dryander left Moselle to escape from the German occupation and settled in Pornic in 1939. Well known designers joined them to create original models like this one.
