Art Deco tea set Franck Haviland Limoges France 1925

Exceptionnal complete tea service circa 1925 of the famous manufacturer Franck Haviland, model Derby n°6. Tea pot and sugar bowl and 8 cups and saucers.
The floral decor is unique by the colors association of various blues, enriched by discreet points of dark red and the gold is thick and sumptuous. The Art Deco composition of the design is very modern.
The Haviland is a famous family of porcelain makers. Franck Haviland is Charles Edward Haviland’s son (himself being David Haviland’s son).
Despite being in charge of the administration of the company, Franck is an artist ; he paints and signs Franck Burty. He lends his name to a decoration company in 1910. Of the white porcelain of this company comes from the Haviland & C° and is signed Haviland Limoges under the enamel in chrome green.
The Letourneur mark on all pieces of the service except the sugar bowl, is that of a decorator, who participated in the creation of the decoration. The sugar bowl is marked Haviland France completed with the mark ‘Edition Exposition Universelle de Paris en 1925’, when they won a prizes.
