Corner wall lights in plaster decorated with doves, circa 1930
Rare corner wall lights in plaster with a relief motif of two intertwined doves. This sculptural wall light is Art Deco in style and was made around the 1930s or 1940s.
There is a signature on the back that is difficult to read unless you know what to look for. I would be delighted to have it identified by an expert.
An unusual and chic light fixture, it subtly illuminates the space indirectly. Animal motifs were common in Art Deco period decoration, and it is very pleasant to find them.
We are fortunate to have four of them, a typical Art Deco decoration where every corner of a room was lit.
